Northwest of Durham: Wiebes host fund-raiser for school

Clayton and Betty Wiebe hosted a fund-raiser supper Friday evening for the school at their home. Guests for a clam chowder supper were Nelson and Bev Wiebe and family, Duane and Louise Ratzlaff, Tim and Shelia Koehn and Jared, and Marcel and Wendy Unruh and Joel.

Harry and Lela Wedel had the Merlin Wiebe family and Ron Becker family as their Sunday dinner guests.

Clayton and Betty Wiebe and Ken and Sandy Wiebe returned home early Wednesday morning from California after attending funeral services for their niece, Jane Koehn. Ransom and Lillian Wiebe and the Mark Wiebe family, who each drove, returned home late Saturday afternoon.

Larry and Wanda Koehn, Denise and Titus, Harry and Sheryl Rhodes, and Dale and Kathy Jantz and Ruthann were Sunday dinner guests of Nelson and Bev Wiebe.

Ron and Dora Unruh went Sunday to visit J.R. Unruh who is a surgical patient at the Hutchinson hospital.

Supper guests Monday evening of Travis and Sharon Koehn to help Wanda Koehn celebrate her recent birthday, were Larry and Wanda Koehn, Denise and Titus, Dalton and Lorna Wiebe, Tim and Shelia Koehn and Jared, and Carol Unruh.

Harry and Sheryl Rhodes invited Stuart and Lela Isaac and family, Terry and Barb Hiebert and family, Irvin Isaac, and Henry Redger to be their Sunday supper guests.

The Mark Wiebe family, Jason Wiebe family, and Bryon and Rebecca Thomas went Sunday evening to the home of Ransom and Lillian Wiebe to enjoy finger foods, snacks, and visiting together.

Calvin and Janene Wiebe and family, Dale and Kathy Jantz and Ruthann, and Roy and Nadine Davis and Rhonda were guests for Sunday supper at the Merlin Wiebe home.

Wendell and Linda Wedel and Greg and Charlene Wedel and Cadon were Sunday dinner guests of Travis and Connie Becker.

Harlan and Sherry Koehn invited Wendell and Linda Wedel, Clayton and Betty Wiebe, Doug and Starla Koehn, Jerold and Rhonda Koehn and family, Heath and Bethany Dirks, and Beth Troyer and Monica Gossen to Sunday supper.
