Northwest of Durham: Morning Star Church holds dedication

A large crowd attended the Sunday afternoon dedication of the Morning Star Church. Supper was served and musical program presented.

Frank and Karen Unruh of California arrived Friday to spend a week visiting their parents, Ransom and Lillian Wiebe and daughter Rebecca and Bryon Thomas. The Unruhs' and Thomas' were Sunday dinner guests of the Wiebes. All were Monday supper guests of the Merlin Wiebes.

Jaraine Redger and Lola Redger went Friday to the graveside services for Howard Smith at Moundridge cemetery. Howard is a cousin of Jaraine.

Ken and Sandy Wiebe and Calvin and Donna Salisbury of Montezuma were Sunday dinner guests of Doyle and Kara Wiebe. The Salisburys' daughter, Marci teaches at Cottonwood Grove school.

The Mark Unruh family and Dora attended the Saturday MCC sale at Hutchinson.

Conrad and Lois Yost were Sunday overnight guests of Ransom and Lillian Wiebe.

Clayton and Betty Wiebe left Tuesday for Michigan. They visited friends Wednesday afternoon in Goshen, Ind. They celebrated the 40th anniversary of Betty's brother, Pete and Joyce Koehn Friday evening then returned home Saturday evening.
