Nora Ellen Covell
Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at Prairie Lawn Cemetery, Peabody, for Nora Ellen Covell, 77, who died June 14, 2002, at Overland Park.
Born Oct. 21, 1924, at Yale, Okla., she was the daughter of the late Charles and Nellie (Dunn) Orcutt.
Her husband Keith Covell preceded her in death.
Survivors include two sons, Kent of Leawood and Kirk of Mission; and two grandchildren.
Pastor Jim Pohlman officiated. A memorial fund has been established at the Cancer Center for Basic Research, Kansas State University, Manhattan.
