Nice to know you missed me

Two of my five regular readers commented that I didn't write an opinion column for the past issue of the newspaper. I was on a brief vacation in colorful Colorado and didn't get home in time to do that AND attend the Monday night Peabody City Council meeting, so the opinion was left undone. Thanks to both of you for noticing.

It is still cold in Colorado. The Bradford pears are just now blooming and the grass is green-ish, but not lush green. The night after I left it snowed in the eastern plains region where my sister lives. Shudder. By the time I drove through western Kansas, however, things were warming up nicely. Ah, Kansas!
