News from Legacy Park
Spring has sprung at Legacy Park. Residents and staff have been planting flowers and vegetables. We look forward to seeing them grow and blossom.
April was busy with Easter fun including an Easter egg hunt and party. The activity department hosted a tea for those who volunteer at Legacy Park. The residents always look forward to taking scenic drives, especially during the time of year when everything is blooming. Each month residents take part in the Peabody Senior Center potluck. Seven attended in April.
The bake sale May 1 was a success. We appreciate the American Legion Auxiliary's cooperation with the event. The activity department will benefit from the proceeds.
Legacy Park did well on its recent annual survey. We appreciate staff and families for their contribution to a good survey.
We are celebrating with the high school seniors as they prepare to graduate. We have five on our staff. Many of our staff have seniors in their family this year. Come see our front window for all their names.
Next week we will celebrate National Nursing Home Week. Residents will release balloons at 1:30 p.m. Monday. The staff is planning fun activities throughout the week.
Legacy Park is planning a community barbecue. Details are forthcoming.
