Newman, Wood engaged
Charlene Lawrence of Florence and Ray and Patty Savage of Peabody announce the engagement of their daughter, Cristina Dawn Newman, to Steven Gale Wood, son of Greg and Vicki Blasi of Colwich and Larry Wood of Wichita.
The bride-to-be is a graduate of Peabody-Burns High School and Hesston College. She is employed as a registered nurse at Hutchinson Hospital.
Her fiancé is a graduate of Andale High School. He is employed as a welder at Case IH.
The wedding is set for June 5 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Colwich. The couple will reside in Mount Hope.
