Nellans, Flaming engagement
Dale and Kim Nellans of Peabody announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Lisa Nellans of Lawrence, to Cory Flaming of Gardner. He is the son of Del and Margaret Flaming of Peabody.
Grandparents are Glenn and Erma Nellans of Peabody, Verna Slusser of Wichita and the late Frank Slusser, Rose Flaming of Peabody and the late Dick Flaming, and Dorthy Bringolf of Wichita and the late Charles Bringolf.
The bride-to-be is a graduate of Peabody-Burns High School and is currently a student at the University of Kansas. She is employed by Johnson County Community College.
Her fiancé, also a graduate of Peabody-Burns High School, is a graduate of Washburn University. He is employed by the Overland Park Police Department.
The couple plan to marry May 28 at Old Shawnee Town in Shawnee.
