Morgans attend graduation, track meet

Larry and Dee Morgan attended graduation exercises Thursday for Trent Mielke of Prairie Hills Middle School of Hutchinson. Ceremonies were held at Buhler High School. The Morgans attended the state track meet on Friday and Saturday in Wichita where Steven was a participant. Saturday evening they attended a Wranglers game to help Jocelyn Kallansrud celebrate her birthday.
Lois Sayers and her sister, Mary Archer of Cottonwood Falls, went Saturday to Burden. Mary attended the 50th class reunion and Lois visited her aunt, Ermal Bolack. In the evening they both attended the alumni banquet.
Ike and Marie Clark's Sunday dinner guests were Marvin and Sherol Nightengale, Joyce Barker of Wichita, Leroy and Norma Riggs of Marion, and Maude Gaines of Peabody. Bill and Marie Clark of El Dorado were afternoon visitors.
Mitch and Cathy Foote of Manhattan were Sunday overnight guests of her parents, Marvin and Sherol Nightengale.
Supper guests of Kevin and Jan Jantz, Kaylee and Shawna Friday were Renferd and Wanda Koehn, Lonnie, Dalen, and Carolee, Vernon, Florine, and Judy Koehn, and Luana Isacc. The occasion was to celebrate the birthdays of Kaylee, Shawna, and Carolee.
Chris and Elaine Kessler and family of Scott City, daughter of Roger and Geneva Koehn, were weekend guests in the area.
Ron and Karen Smith and family of Texline, Texas, daughter of Howard and Violet Koehn, visited relatives the past weekend.
Martin and Kayme Voelker, Alyson and Abbie of Nixa, Mo., attended the priest ordination of his brother, Nick this past weekend in Wichita. Al, Bonnie and Shelby Plummer attended a family dinner at St. Francis of Assisi Saturday evening in Wichita and visited with the Voelkers.
Maggie Meisinger of Marion and Joyce Kyle had lunch Wednesday at Burns Café.
Mary Langenegger and Joyce Kyle accompanied Phyllis Mitchell to Newton Saturday to the home of Dave and Marilyn Reimer. They all attended a surprise birthday open house for Pastor Elmer Reimer who celebrated his 80th birthday.
Greg Langenegger, Mary Langennegger, and Joyce Kyle attended the Memorial Day dinner Sunday at Burns United Methodist Church. Joyce attended the graduation open house Sunday afternoon for Nick Myers' friend, Angelica, at the home of Minamae Bierman.
Greg and Zeola Langenegger, Mary Langenegger, and Joyce Kyle visited several cemeteries late Sunday afternoon. That evening Jim Schroeder and Cole of Moundridge visited Joyce.
