Minnie Cory
Minnie A. Cory, 94, died July 7, 2004, at Newton Medical Center.
Born Sept. 24, 1909, at Bridgeport, Ill., she was the daughter of John and Mary Belle Hamilton.
On Aug. 12, 1928, she married Robert Cory. He died in 1978.
A homemaker, she was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, El Dorado, Esther Church Circle, Life Enrichment, and the senior center in El Dorado.
Survivors include a son, Robert Craig Cory of Seattle, Wash.; a brother, John Hamilton of Corpus Christi, Texas; two grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Trinity United Methodist Church, El Dorado, with the Rev. Steve Hysom officiating.
Burial was in Bella Vista Cemetery, El Dorado.
