Mimi Conrad
Doris Fay "Mimi" Conrad, 81, of Burns died Oct. 30, 2003, at her home.
Born April 8, 1922 at Red Bluff, Calif., she was the daughter of Everett and Eulah (Thompson) Stirewalt.
Conrad was a homemaker and lived in Burns since 1982, moving from Wichita. She was a baby sitter for many children and was known to all of them as "Mimi." She attended the Methodist church.
On Jan. 20, 1961, she married Don Conrad in Everett, Wash.,
She was preceded in death by her parents; a son Richard Beam, a granddaughter, two brothers, and one sister.
Survivors include her husband of the home, son Larry Beam, daughter Arlene Winsor, both of Burns, brother Cy Stirewalt of Oregon, sister Wilma Price of Oregon City, Ore., 16 grandchildren, 42 great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.
Memorial services were held Tuesday at Carlson Funeral Home, El Dorado.
A memorial fund has been established with St. Jude Children Cancer Fund.
