Milton: Plummers visit family in Norton

Al and Bonnie Plummer went to Norton Jan. 24 and were overnight guests of Bonnie's mother, Florence Lambert, and her brother, Joe Lambert, on the 24th and 25th.

Marvin and Sherol Nightengale visited her brother, Bill Clark, on Thursday at his home in El Dorado. He is doing quite well. Later they attended Laura's basketball game.

Sherol Nightengale and Nettie Belle Graham of Hesston, former classmates at Burns High School, met on Friday at the Burns Café and enjoyed lunch together.

Dusty Gaines of Newton spent Friday with his dad, Ronnie, taking advantage of the last day of hunting. He was a Sunday dinner guest, enjoying the "rewards of the hunt."

Sunday dinner guests of Renferd and Wanda Koehn, Lonnie, Dalen, and Carolee were teachers, Marcella Schmidt and Grace Yoder.

Kathleen Brenzikofer and Joyce Kyle attended a health meeting Wednesday at the Marion Senior Center. A good meal was served and there was an interesting program.

I'm so happy to report that Mack and Shayla Clark brought their little miracle baby, Hadlye, home Wednesday. Shayla's parents, Wayne and Dot Lofton, came to help for a few days. I was asked to deliver a message Friday afternoon and had the privilege of holding and feeding Hadlye. I was a Sunday afternoon messenger also and held and fed her again. Michelle Nelson and Holton of Cassoday were additional Friday afternoon callers.

Vernon and Florine Koehn went to a mission field in Mountain Grove, Mo., Saturday afternoon, returning home Monday.

Sarah Ousley and Taylor and a friend Matt of Jefferson, Mo., came Friday afternoon to visit Sarah's dad and family, Bruce and Sheila Sayers, Sara, Devon, Megan, and Jessica. Grandma Lois and Grandpa Lawrence enjoyed the visit also. They returned home on Sunday.

Mary Archer of Cottonwood Falls had lunch Wednesday with her sister and husband, Lois and Lawrence Sayers.

Ike and Marie Clark called on Joyce Kyle Saturday afternoon.
