Milton: Nightengales attend grandson's basketball game

Marvin and Sherol Nightengale went to El Dorado Monday evening to watch their grandson Roger Nightengale play basketball. They also went to Circle High School Saturday evening to watch Roger play.
Ronnie and Patti Gaines, Marvin and Sherol Nightengale, Kathleen Brenzikofer, Mary Langenegger, and Joyce Kyle were among others who attended the Summit church Christmas program Sunday evening. It was a very meaningful service.
Larry and Dee Morgan met friends Pat and Melva Hoffer of Sulpher, La., at Applebee's in Newton Tuesday evening for a visit.
The Larry Morgans attended the Bethel-Friends game Thursday evening to watch Steven play. Larry also went to the Bethel-Tabor game on Saturday. Dee went to Manhattan to attend a party for Bosten Manns' fourth birthday and to attend Chance Manns' graduation from the Manhattan Area Technical College.
Larry and Dee Morgan and Chance and Brenda Manns, Laken and Bosten attended a Stahl pre-Christmas gathering Dec. 8 in Moundridge.
Marvin and Sherol Nightengale picked up Ike and Marie Clark Thursday and went to the home of Joyce Barker in Wichita for the annual George Clark sibling Christmas dinner. Others attending were Joyce's friend John, Bill and Marie Clark, Sonny and Joan Clark of El Dorado, Leroy and Norma Riggs of Marion, and Maude Gaines and Sally Matz of Peabody. Afternoon callers were Mack and Shayla Clark, Joe and Shirley Bickell, and Shawn and Heidi Barker and son.
Lawrence and Lois Sayers were Wednesday dinner guests of Lois' sister Mary Archer in Cottonwood Falls. They all went to Emporia. The Sayers and Bruce and Sheila Sayers, Sara, Devon, Megan, and Jessica enjoyed the Peabody Bible Church's soup supper and Christmas program Sunday evening.
Saturday callers of Joyce Kyle were Ike and Marie Clark, Peggy Van der Weg of Newton, and Jim Gehring of Moundridge.
