Milton news: Vernon Koehn celebrates birthday with guests

Supper guests Tuesday evening of Vernon, Florine, and Judy Koehn were Renferd and Wanda Koehn, Lonnie, Dalen, and Carolee, Kevin and Janarro Jantz, Kaylee, Shawna, and Jesse, Rose Forgy, Melissa, Ryan, and Luana Isaac. All celebrated Vernon's birthday.
Marvin and Sherol Nightengale and Ronnie and Patti Gaines attended the 65th anniversary open house honoring Bill and Marie Clark at El Dorado.
Marvin and Sherol attended basketball games Monday evening at El Dorado. They watched their grandchildren, Roger and Laura Nightengale play.
Bonnie Plummer left Feb. 18 for Norton to be with her mother, Florence Lambert who was a patient at the hospital. She was released Wednesday and entered a nursing home for recuperation. Bonnie returned home Thursday.
Lonnie Koehn returned home Saturday evening from Canada. Renferd and Wanda Koehn visited Sunday evening with his parents, Nathan and Ella Koehn. She is doing well.
Joyce Kyle was a Wednesday evening caller at the Lawrence Sayers home to watch the DVD Megan made as a tribute to her dad, Bruce. It was a great piece of work. The sixth graders all made a DVD.
Mary Langenegger and Joyce Kyle went Sunday afternoon to Moundridge to attend the 50th anniversary of their brother and sister-in-law, Jim and Beulah Gehring. It was a lovely celebration and we wish them many more.
