Milton News: Smiths are hosts for dinner

Rose Forgy, Melissa and Ryan returned home Saturday. We are happy Rose is doing very well. They were Sunday dinner guests of David and Shannon Smith, Mason, Austin, and Cheyenne. John and Norma Smith also were guests.
Marvin and Sherol Nightengale went to Buhler to watch Laura Nightengale run. They left for Kearney, Mo., Friday evening for the home of Jim and Linda Hess, Allie and Amelia. They returned home Monday.
Bonnie Plummer got word Friday that her mother, Florence Lambert, had fallen and broken her hip. She is in the Hays Medical Center. Bonnie went to be with her Saturday. Her mother had surgery Sunday. We wish her well. Bonnie returned home Monday.
Kathleen Benzikofer, Evelyn Sidener, and Joyce Kyle attended the 46th annual meeting of the Senior Citizens of Marion County Thursday in Hillsboro.
Joyce Kyle attended the layette shower for Suzy Myers Oertel, daughter of Barbara Anderson, at the home of Tom and Nedy Grimwood. She received many lovely gifts.
Joyce Kyle went to the home of Bob and Becky Kyle Sunday to celebrate Braxton's 10th birthday. Dinner was served to the honoree and guests Fred Havlik and family, Marion Rowland and family, Glenn Kyle and family, Brad Glover and family, Brian Henry and family, and Dan Kyle.
