Milton news: Senior fellowship meets at Burns

The First Mennonite senior fellowship was held Wednesday evening at the Burns Community Center. Attending were Pastor Arlen Busenitz, Dave and Esther Stucky, Howard and Darlene Goering, David and Welma Thiessen, Stan and Karen Saner, Mike and Larry Pachek, Ruth Schmidt, Esther Stucky, Beverly Morgan, Evelyn Sidener, Kathleen Brenzikofer, Mary Langenegger, and Joyce Kyle.

Marvin and Sherol Nightengale went to the regional track meet Friday at Circle to watch granddaughter, Laura Nightengale, perform. El Dorado did very well.

Kristen and Brandon Wilds of Manhattan and Laura and Casey Nightengale of El Dorado enjoyed a wiener roast Saturday evening with their grandparents, Marvin and Sherol Nightengale.

The Nightengales attended a dinner Sunday evening at the Brad Nightengale home, then went to commencement exercises for Roger at El Dorado High School.

Eden Christian School's last day of school was Saturday and several from the community attended.

Nathan and Ella Koehn were Sunday dinner guests of Renferd and Wanda Koehn, Lonnie, Dalen, and Carolee.

Ronnie and Patti Gains went to Perry Saturday to attend the commencement of Allison Gantz. They spent the weekend there with relatives.

Joyce Kyle went to Ramona Friday for the Marion County Senior Citizens board meeting, then came back to Burns to meet cousins, Ron and Georganna Larkin of Georgetown, Texas, at the café.

Mary Langenegger and Joyce Kyle were guests of their brother and wife, Jim and Beulah Gehring Tuesday evening at Buffalo Gulch Steakhouse.
