Milton news: Residents attend wedding of Tara Cole, Seth Post

Several in the community attended the lovely outdoor wedding of Tara Cole and Seth Post at the Pat Post farm Saturday evening. Ronnie and Patti Gaines, Ty Gaines of Madison, Marvin and Sherol Nightengale, LaVonne Ammeter, and Joyce Kyle attended. We wish them well.
Patti Gaines was a guest of her sister Roma Koehn in Galva Friday afternoon, overnight, and Saturday morning. Patti reports a great "sister time."
Ronnie and Patti met Ty and Kim Gaines Sunday evening in El Dorado and all enjoyed supper together.
Marvin and Sherol Nightengale went to Newton Saturday morning to watch Roger and Laura Nightengale compete in cross country. Casey Nightengale ran in Wellington, but they didn't get to watch him.
Lois Sayers picked up Joyce Kyle Saturday morning and they attended the Peabody Bible Church coffee house. Delicious muffins, scones, smoothies, tea, and coffees were served. June Fair-Harris was a most interesting speaker.
Mary Archer, sister of Lois Sayers, of Cottonwood Falls came to the Sayers home Monday morning and the women went to Wichita.
Joyce Kyle met cousins, Ron and Georganna Larkin of Georgetown, Texas, Friday noon at Burns Café. They enjoyed visiting and eating.
Betty Kyle returned home Tuesday. Please remember the family.
