Milton news: Old Coffee Klatch holds reunion

The Old Coffee Klatch had a reunion Saturday evening at the home of Phyllis Mitchell. Those enjoying the evening were Pat Nystrom, Judy Ferren, Nancy Wiebe, Dee Morgan of Hesston, Gloria Handle of Baxter Springs, and Pattie Gaines and her guest, Kim Gaines of Madison.
Weekend guests of Ronnie and Patti Gaines were Dusty Gaines of Wichita and Ty and Kim Gaines of Madison.
Marvin and Sherol Nightengale left Friday and were overnight guests of Mitch and Cathy Foote at Manhattan. They attended the cross country meet Saturday at Wamego where Roger and Laura Nightengale were participants. They returned home Sunday evening.
Joyce Kyle attended Esther Nelson's funeral service Wednesday morning. In the evening she attended a salad supper at First Mennonite Church. The program was Harry Bennett and daughter Hannah telling of their Peace Corps experience. Joyce went to Newton Friday to visit Betty Kyle at Newton Medical Center. She is improving, but remember her in your prayers.
Joyce and Greg Langenegger were Sunday dinner guests of Mary Langenegger and Gary. On the way home Joyce stopped at the home of Ike and Marie Clark. It was Ike's birthday and their children were there to help him celebrate. He had lots of phone calls.
Rose Forgy, Melissa and Ryan, Brad and Meriam Jantz, Trevor and Katrina, Matthew and Vickie Koehn, Kendra, Shayla, and Carson, and Jerald and Lavonne Jantz were Sunday dinner guests of Lena Koehn and Margy Jantz at Newton.
Kevin and Jan Jantz, Kaylee, Shauna, and Jesse brought Sunday dinner to the home of Vernon, Florine, and Judy Koehn. Lowell and Lavonne Koehn were afternoon visitors.
