Milton news: Nightengales attend regional track meet

Marvin and Sherol Nightengale went to Carbondale Friday evening to attend the regional track meet in which their granddaughter, Laura Nightengale was a participant. They went on to Kearney, Mo., to spend the weekend with Jim and Linda Hess, Allie and Amelia. They went to El Dorado Tuesday morning to attend the eighth grade graduation of Casey Nightengale.
Al and Bonnie Plummer left Saturday for Lawrence to attend the graduation of Shelby Plummer. Others there were Kayme Voelker, Alyson and Abby of Nixa, Mo., and Chris Jones of El Dorado. They returned home Sunday and Shelby returned home for the summer.
Vernon and Judy Koehn, Renferd and Wanda Koehn, Lonnie, Dalen, and Carolee, Rose Forgy, Melissa and Ryan, Joyce Kyle, and Kathleen Brenzikofer attended on Saturday the eighth grade graduation, the last day of school dinner, and activities at Eden Christian School. Carolee was one of the sixth graduates.
Rose Forgy, Melissa and Ryan attended the Peabody-Burns High School graduation Sunday. Brett Bass was one of the graduates. They attended the eighth grade promotion for Jenny Huls Monday at Peabody.
Elmer and Dorothy Jantz moved into the home formerly occupied by Josh and Ashley Wiebe in Burns and Steve Morgan moved into the Jantz home. We wish them all well.
Evelyn Sidener, Kathleen Brenzikofer, and Joyce Kyle went to Durham Friday to attend the Senior Citizens of Marion County board meeting.
Mary Langenegger and Joyce Kyle went to Hesston Sunday to attend the high school graduation and party for their great-nephew, Tyler Gehring.
Joyce had lunch Tuesday with Maggie Meisinger and Crystal Deering at Mom's Café in Burns.
