Milton news: Nightengales attend church social at El Dorado

Marvin and Sherol Nightengale were Sunday dinner guests of Brad and Diane Nightengale, Roger, Laura, and Casey at El Dorado. In the afternoon they attended the Trinity church ice cream social and songfest.
The Renferd Koehn family went Tuesday to Wichita to see Deby Koehn, Roland Koehn's daughter, as she left for Kenya where she will be teaching school. She had a 35-hour flight.
Vernon Koehn called Sunday afternoon on Jake and Ruby Koehn. While there his brother Walter of Tennessee called and all had a good visit.
Delmer and Linda Ensz from Inman brought a friend, Badi of Fleetwood, Pa., formerly of Haiti, to visit Saturday afternoon in the Vernon Koehn home. The Ensz family became friends with Badi while they were in Haiti.
Stewart and Karen Koehn, Ashlie, Lane, and Kasha and Bob Koehn were Sunday dinner guests of Rose Forgy, Melissa and Ryan.
Joyce Kyle attended a hospice meeting Monday at Newton.
Such great rains, everything is so nice and green for August in Kansas. I think I'll have to hire a baler to take care of my grass.
