Milton news: Most Milton residents stick close to home

Marvin and Sherol Nightengale went to Circle High School Monday evening to watch granddaughter Laura Nightengale run.
It seems as though everyone stayed home but me! I attended a Mexican supper Wednesday evening at First Mennonite Church.
Burns United Methodist Women meeting was held Thursday at my home.
I attended the ribbon cutting Saturday morning at the new library and city building in Burns.
Becky Kyle took Betty Kyle and me Monday to Wichita to visit Evelyn Beard and Phyllis Nedeau.
I was a supper guest of Tom and Nedy Grimwood and Christopher Tuesday evening in honor of Tom's birthday. Art and Alice Hatch also were guests.
We are thankful for more rain.
