Al and Bonnie Plummer left Friday for Missouri where they saw Abby and her dance group perform in Branson. Saturday morning they attended Alyson's piano recital in Springfield. The Plummers and Martin and Kayme Voelker, Alyson, and Abby spent the weekend in Branson.
Ronnie and Patti Gaines went to Canton Saturday evening, picked up her mother, Esther Highfill, and went to the home of Kenny and Roma Koehn in Galva. Other guests were Jeff and Jill Koehn, Ashlie and Megan of Hutchinson.
Sunday Ronnie and Patti, Maude Gaines, Dusty Gaines of Newton, and Ty and Kim Gaines of Madison joined other relatives at Peabody Senior Center for the Gaines Christmas party.
Marvin and Sherol Nightengale went to El Dorado Tuesday evening to watch Roger and Laura Nightengale play basketball.
Lois Sayers attended the prayer sisters' Christmas party Sunday evening at Peabody Bible Church.
Joyce Kyle went to Wichita Thursday to visit her sisters-in-law, Evelyn Beard and Phyllis Nedeau.
Mary Langenegger and Joyce Kyle and several community families attended the Summit church Christmas program Sunday evening. It was inspirational.
We extend our sympathy to the family of Marvin Koehn, who died Thursday. Relatives coming for the funeral were Wendell and Carmella Koehn and family of Cimarron, who came Friday, and were supper guests of Rose Isaac and children. Other guests were Kevin and Jan Jantz and family, Dan and June Huls and Jennifer, and Luana Isaac. Wendells were Rose's overnight guests. Sunday night they were overnight guests of Luana Isaac.
Sunday overnight guests of Renferd and Wanda Koehn and family were Chester and Joy Smith of DeRidder, La. Guests of Vernon, Florine, and Judy Koehn were Paul and Frances Smith of Dumas, Ark. Guests of Rose Isaac and family were Howard and Iris Smith of Birmingham, Ala.
