Last week's news:
Lawrence and Lois Sayers took me to the airport at Wichita Nov. 1. I flew to Dallas where Wayne and Deby Kyle met me and took me to their home at Hamilton, Texas. We went to Waco Friday morning to prepare for the wedding rehearsal dinner for their son, Jeff Kyle and the bride, Amy Kuehl at Moon River Ranch. We had accommodations at the lodge Friday and Saturday nights. The wedding was Saturday at the chapel at the ranch. A beautiful wedding, reception, and dance.
Sunday after checking out, we went to the home of Cody and Carol Kuehl in Robinson, ate lunch, and watched the newlyweds open gifts. We went back to Hamilton. Wayne brought me home Sunday. Deby didn't get to come because her mother is critically ill. On the way home we stopped in Yukon, Okla., to visit my sister-in-law, Evelyn Beard and saw her son and wife. Wayne left for Texas Tuesday morning.
Marvin and Sherol Nightengale left Friday for Kearney, Mo., to visit their daughter and family, Jim and Linda Hess, Allie and Amelia. They watched Amelia play soccer Saturday and Allie play soccer Sunday. They celebrated Amelia's birthday Saturday evening. They returned home Sunday evening.
Saturday overnight guests of Al and Bonnie Plummer were their grandsons, Austin, Draven, and Aiden Bidwell of El Dorado.
