Shawna and Jessie Jantz were at the home of Renferd Koehn's while their parents, Kevin and Jan, helped with the MCC canning project in Hillsboro. Lonnie Koehn also helped.
Saturday afternoon callers of Vernon, Florine, and Judy Koehn were John and Elsie Unruh of Greensburg. Florine and Elsie are cousins. Sunday afternoon callers were Roland and Kim Koehn.
Ty and Kim Gaines and Brooke of Madison spent the weekend with Ronnie and Patti Gaines. They called on Grandma Maude Gaines Sunday morning, then went to Wichita to spend time with Dusty Gaines.
Marvin Nightengale went to El Dorado Saturday to watch granddaughter, Laura, run in regional cross country. Marvin and Sherol went Tuesday evening to watch Casey play basketball.
Peabody-Burns didn't have school Wednesday so Megan and Jessica Sayers stayed with Sara Sayers and Autumn in the morning and with Joyce Kyle in the afternoon.
Lawrence and Lois Sayers went to Cottonwood Falls Monday to visit Lois' sister, Mary Archer. They ate lunch with her at her home.
First Mennonite Senior Fellowship was held Wednesday evening at the Burns Community Center. Attending were Pastor Arlan Busenitz, Dave and Esther Stucky, Howard and Darline Goering, Stan and Karen Saner, Mike and Larry Spachek, Ruth Ann Schmidt, Kathleen Brenzikofer, Phyllis Mitchell, Doni Rogers, Mary Langenegger, and Joyce Kyle.
