Marvin and Sherol Nightengale attended the assembly, parade, and homecoming game Friday at El Dorado High School. Marvin went to El Dorado Saturday to watch Laura and Casey Nightengale run in a cross country meet.
Vernon and Judy Koehn were Sunday callers of Marvin and Sherol Nightengale.
Dinner guests Sept. 30 of Rose Forgy, Melissa and Ryan were Luana Isaac and Brett Bass.
Lori Sayers, Megan and Jessica Sayers, and Sandy Sayers spent Monday in Wichita.
Shelby Plummer visited her parents, Al and Bonnie Plummer on Monday.
Joyce Kyle had Burns UMW Thursday at her home. Attending were Esta Hall, Laverna Parrish, Kathleen Brenzikofer, Evelyn Sidener, and Beverly Morgan.
Sunday dinner guests of Mary Langenegger and Gary were Greg Langenegger, Glenn and Daytha Langenegger, Joyce Kyle, and Marjorie Olinger Riley of Kansas City. Marjorie came to Burns for the class of 1947 reunion that was held at Arletta's Saturday. Marjorie was a weekend guest of Mary.
Joyce Kyle attended the senior citizens meeting at noon Tuesday. In the evening she went to the home of Mary Langenegger to the First Mennonite senior fellowship. Others attending were Pastor Arlen Busenitz, Dave and Esther Stucky, Mike and Larry Spachek, Evelyn Sidener, Kathleen Brenzikofer, and Gary Langenegger.
The community extends sympathy to the family of Jessie Bayes, who died Oct. 9.
