Ronnie and Patti Gaines went to the home of Ty and Kim Gaines at Madison this weekend to take care of their granddaughter, Brooke.
Marvin and Sherol Nightengale went to Manhattan Friday to spend the night at the home of Mitch and Cathy Foote. They went to Wamego Saturday to watch Laura and Casey Nightengale run.
Jerry and Donna Nickel, their grandchildren, Lane and Kasha Koehn and Galen and Verna Becker, brought Sunday dinner to the home of Vernon, Florine, and Judy Koehn. The afternoon was spent visiting.
Sunday dinner guests of Luana Isaac were Rose Forgy, Melissa and Ryan, Kevin and Janarro Jantz, Kaylee, Shauna, and Jesse, Jenny Huls, and Brett Bass.
Nathan and Ella Koehn were Sunday dinner guests of Renferd and Wanda Koehn, Lonnie, Dalen, and Carolee. All were Monday evening supper guests of Roland and Kim Koehn, Doug, Kayla, and Diana to celebrate September birthdays.
Kathleen Brenzikofer and Joyce Kyle went to Marion Friday to see the Union Pacific steam locomotive. What a sight.
The First Mennonite senior fellowship was held Wednesday evening at the church. Those attending were Pastor Arlen Busenitz, Mike and Larry Spachek, Dave and Esther Stucky, Howard and Darline Goering, Phyllis Mitchell, Doni Rogers, Evelyn Sidener, Mary Langenegger, and Joyce Kyle.
The community extends its sympathy to the family of Ed Spangler and get well wishes to Steve Stucky.
