A surprise birthday party for Ike Clark was held Sunday evening at the Burns park. Community members enjoying ice cream and cake were Marvin and Sherol Nightengale and Ronnie and Patti Gaines.
Ronnie and Patti Gaines picked up Esther Highfill Friday evening and all were supper guests of Kenny and Roma Koehn at Galva.
Dusty Gaines was a weekend guest of his parents, Ronnie and Patti. Ty Gaines of Madison was a visitor Saturday evening.
Marvin and Sherol Nightengale were overnight guests Friday of Mitch and Cathy Foote in Manhattan. They went to Wamego Saturday to watch grandchildren, Roger and Laura Nightengale of El Dorado, run in cross country meets.
Lawrence and Lois Sayers went to El Dorado Thursday and took their daughter, Sandy, to lunch to celebrate her birthday.
Joyce Kyle was a guest of Lois Sayers Saturday morning at the Coffee House Experience at Peabody Bible Church. Lori Beckler was the guest speaker and it was inspirational.
Bruce Sayers, Megan and Jessica attended the state fair Saturday. Al and Bonnie Plummer attended Sunday.
Joyce Kyle met Earl and Louise Mercer of Clyde, Texas, at Burns Café Wednesday for lunch. They spent the afternoon visiting at the Kyle home.
Don and Laverna Parrish and Joyce Kyle attended the hospice volunteer meeting Friday afternoon in Marion.
Kathleen Brenzikofer and Joyce Kyle were among the many guests at the Gerald Sivits home Sunday afternoon for a party for their grandson, Stoney Thompson, who will soon be leaving for Iraq.
Renferd and Wanda Koehn, Lonnie, Dalen, and Carolee and Ryan and Melissa Doyle were dinner guests Sunday of Vernon, Florine, and Judy Koehn.
Kevin Jantz was hospitalized but was able to return home. We wish him well. Please remember him in your prayers.
