Sherol Nightengale attended a bridal shower Sunday afternoon for Katie Banks at Trinity Methodist Church in El Dorado.
Al and Bonnie Plummer went to Lawrence Friday and were overnight guests of Shelby Plummer. They went to Kansas City Saturday and met Martin and Kayme Voelker, Alyson and Abby. All had dinner together and visited. Al and Bonnie took Shelby back to Lawrence and returned home.
Dorothy Plummer of Emporia was a Sunday afternoon visitor of Al and Bonnie Plummer.
Bruce and Sheila Sayers, Megan and Jessica went camping this week in Colorado. They will return home the latter part of the week and go on to Branson, Mo., for a few days.
Jim and Beulah Gehring of Moundridge called on Joyce Kyle Tuesday evening. They were back Saturday evening, picked up Joyce and Mary Langenegger and had supper at Buffalo Gulch.
Joyce attended a hospice meeting Thursday morning in Newton and called on Kathleen Brenzikofer at Newton Medical Center. She had knee replacement surgery this past week and is doing well. Joyce also visited her Sunday afternoon.
Lois Sayers called on Joyce Kyle late Saturday evening.
Willie and Cathy Bender, Timothy and Weldon and Willie's parents, Jonas and Amelia Bender of Mifflinberg, Pa., arrived Friday evening at the home of Vernon and Florine Koehn and Judy. Renferd and Wanda Koehn, Lonnie, Dalen and Carolee; Kevin and Janarro Jantz, Kaylee, Shauna, and Jesse; Luana Isaac; and Rose Isaac, Melissa and Ryan gathered at the Koehn home to welcome visitors. Jonas and Amelia spent Friday overnight with the Renferd Koehns. Willie's family spent Friday, Saturday, and Sunday with the Vernon Koehns. Renferd and Wanda had dinner Saturday for Willie's family, Judy, Jan, and children.
The Benders attended a wedding Sunday at Garden View Church in Halstead. That evening, the family, except Jonas and Amelia, were supper guests of Vernon's. The Benders left Monday evening for their home.
