Marvin and Sherol Nightengale went to Manhattan Friday and were guests during the rehearsal dinner for Kristen Foote and Brandon Wilds, held at the home of Kristen's parents, Mitch and Cathy Foote. The couple was married Saturday afternoon in the Faith Evangelic Free Church. The Nightengales returned home Sunday.
Saturday evening Ronnie Gaines, Dusty Gaines of Newton, Ty Gaines of Madison and his friend, Doug Duncan of Emporia, attended the Burns Lions Club steak feed.
Patti Gaines called on her mother, Esther Highfill, this past week at Shiloh Manor in Canton.
Lawrence and Lois Sayers visited Ermal Bolack, her aunt, Friday afternoon in Wichita.
Joyce Kyle was a Friday evening supper guest of Ike and Marie Clark. They are enjoying being back home.
Kathleen Brenzikofer and Joyce Kyle went to Marion Sunday and called on Minamae Bierman in St. Luke Hospital. We hope to see her back home soon. Later, they attended the Central Homecare and Hospice Memorial Service in Hesston.
Memorial Day evening Renferd and Wanda Koehn, Lonnie, Dalen, and Carolee, Nathan and Ella Koehn, Roland and Kim Koehn, Deby, Doug, Kayla, and Diane, and Vernon and Florine Koehn and Judy enjoyed a cookout around the pond.
