Josh and Ashley Wiebe and Seth attended the state track meet Saturday at Wichita State University to watch Ashley's brother, Jake Thiessen, and Josh's cousin, Zach Wiebe. Marvin and Sherol Nightengale also went to watch granddaughter Laura Nightengale.
Josh and Ashley Wiebe and Seth and Cecil and Jacque Wiebe were Sunday supper guests of Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Wiebe, Kara, Megan, Zach, Dallas, Micah, and Brooke. They celebrated Lewis' birthday.
Leroy and Norma Riggs of Marion called on Marvin and Sherol Nightengale Sunday afternoon.
Nathan and Ella Koehn were Sunday dinner guests of Renferd and Wanda Koehn, Lonnie and Carolee.
Sandy Sayers was a Saturday guest of her parents, Lawrence and Lois Sayers. Lawrence and Lois attended the wedding Sunday of Ashley DeForest and Doug Dickey at the Dyck Arboretum, Hesston.
Saturday and Sunday guests of Ronnie and Patti Gaines were Kenny and Roma Koehn and Dusty Gaines.
Mary and Gary Langenegger and Joyce Kyle attended eighth grade graduation Wednesday evening for Morgan Schrock in Hesston. They attended the wedding Saturday afternoon of Arlen Busenitz and Mary Longden at Grace Hill Church.
I was pleasantly surprised Friday afternoon when Dave Carlisle of San Angelo, Texas, and Ralph Carlisle of El Dorado called. We had a great visit.
I was a Sunday guest of Greg and Judy Brenzikofer in Newton. We picked up Kathleen Brenzikofer at Kansas Christian Home and attended Trinity United Methodist Church. We called on Martha Shinn at Kidron Nursing Home after church. We enjoyed eating out and visiting.
Lewis Wiebe and sons and Josh Wiebe started roofing my garage Monday. Ashley Wiebe and Seth called on me Tuesday afternoon.
Many observed Memorial Day weekend visiting several cemeteries.
