Many residents visited several cemeteries Saturday and Sunday remembering veterans and loved ones. The cemeteries looked nice.

Overnight guests of Al, Bonnie, and Shelby Plummer Sunday and Monday were their grandsons, Austin, Draven, and Aiden Bidwell of El Dorado.

Bruce and Sheila Sayers, Megan, Jessica, and Sara of Florence and Job Hilliard of Peabody left Wednesday night for Texas. They visited relatives. Bruce and Sara returned Saturday. The others will return later.

Lawrence and Lois Sayers were with their daughter, Sandy, Thursday when she had another cataract surgery. She returned home with them and was there until Saturday afternoon.

Ronnie and Patti Gaines took his mother, Maude Gaines, to Hutchinson Sunday where they attended the graduation for Ben Harper, son of Shelly Harper.

Lawrence and Bernice Harms of Rio Hondo, Texas, were Monday guests of Joyce Kyle. Her brother, Jim Gehring of Moundridge, was a Wednesday afternoon caller.

Joyce met Maggie Meisinger of Marion Friday at the Burns Cafe where they enjoyed lunch and visiting.

Joyce Kyle joined the Zogelman family Sunday evening for a cookout at the home of Bert Zogelman. Later in the evening, Bert, Scott, and Joyce went to see the lighted flag display at Peabody cemetery.

Vernon and Florine Koehn visited Sunday afternoon with Stanley and Edna Giesel.

Marvin and Sherol Nightengale were weekend guests of Mitch, Cathy, and Kristen Foote in Manhattan.
