Ronnie and Patti Gaines helped Ty and Kim Gaines Friday and Saturday move into their new home in Madison. They are very happy with their move.
Roma Koehn of Galva brought Esther Highfill, Roma and Patti's mother, to the Gaines home Sunday for a Mother's Day dinner. Dusty Gaines of Newton joined them for dinner.
Sandy Sayers of El Dorado was a Mother's Day dinner and supper guest of her parents, Lawrence and Lois Sayers. Bruce and Sheila Sayers, Megan and Jessica joined them for supper.
Joyce Kyle accompanied Lawrence and Lois Sayers and Bruce and Sheila Sayers, Megan and Jessica Tuesday to the Peabody Elementary School spring program. It was very good.
Joyce enjoyed the rooster parade in Burns Saturday afternoon. Late afternoon callers of Joyce were Lawrence and Bernice Harms of Rio Hondo, Texas. They attended the 80th birthday party for Harry Harms and were en route to Fall River to the home of Bill and Arlene Morris.
Todd and Heather Nayors, Brett and Zach and friends have been enjoying Sunday afternoon trail rides from their home to Sandy Cunningham's home. They welcome others interested in riding to join them. It is well supervised.
Lois Sayers went to Wichita Monday with her sister, Mary Archer of Cottonwood Falls to see a doctor.
Joyce Kyle, Kathleen Brenzikofer, and Gene Obee were Sunday evening supper guests of Tom and Nedy Grimwood and Christopher. They celebrated Tom's birthday.
Greg and Zeola Langenegger, Glenn and Daytha Langenegger, Emily, Amber, and Laura and Joyce Kyle were Mother's Day dinner guests of Mary and Gary Langenegger.
Willie and Cathy Bender of Mifflinburg, Pa., arrived Thursday evening at the home of her parents, Vernon and Florine Koehn. Renferd and Wanda Koehn, Lonnie, Dalen, and Carolee joined the group several times during their stay. They returned home Sunday night.
The Renferd Koehn's got to say "hello" to Royce and Rachel Koehn and Lanae of James Port, Mo., while they were here Saturday to Sunday visiting their parents, Nathan and Ella Koehn.
Marvin and Sherol Nightengale attended Roger Nightengale's baseball game Friday evening in El Dorado and Casey's game later that evening. They went to Laura's track meet Saturday. Mitch and Cathy Foote, Kristen and Brandon of Manhattan also were there to cheer her on.
Marvin and Sherol Nightengale were Mother's Day dinner guests of the Footes in Manhattan. Jim and Linda Hess, Allie and Amelia also were guests.
Al and Bonnie Plummer went to Norton Saturday to be with her mother, Florence Lambert, for Mother's Day. They returned home Sunday evening.
