Lawrence and Lois Sayers were with their daughter, Sandy, Thursday when she had cataract surgery. She came home with them and was an overnight guest. They took her home to El Dorado Friday evening.
Lois Sayers joined several other women in Peabody Saturday attending Heritage Keepers in Wichita. She reports it was an interesting and inspirational meeting
Marvin and Sherol Nightengale attended their grandson Casey's ball game Saturday afternoon in El Dorado. They watched grandson, Roger, play ball Tuesday evening in El Dorado. The boys both won their games. Marvin and Sherol went to Newton Friday evening and visited Ike and Marie Clark at the home of Jennifer Stucky. Ike is doing well.
Al and Bonnie Plummer attended the Butler Community College music concert Saturday afternoon and evening. Kathleen Brenzikofer, Mary Langenegger, and Joyce Kyle attended Friday evening. Local participants were Emily Langenegger and Shelby Plummer. It was an excellent program.
Jim Gehring of Moundridge called on his sister, Joyce Kyle, Tuesday afternoon.
Mary Langenegger and Joyce Kyle joined Archie and Maryellen Stenzel of Marion at the Burns Café Wednesday morning. A family dinner was held Sunday at Eden Christian School for Renferd and Wanda Koehn, Lonnie, Dalen, and Carolee, Judy Koehn, Luana Isaac, Rose Isaac and family, Marvin Koehn, Ron and Paula Toews and family of Hillsboro, Danny and June Huls and Jennifer, Kevin and Jan Jantz, Kaylee and Shauna, Wendell and Carmella Koehn and family of Cimarron, Mr. and Mrs. Jim Smith and Neva Isaac of Rich Hill, Mo., and Mr. and Mrs. Benton Smith of Walker, Mo.
Norma Koehn of Greensburg and Violet Koehn were Friday visitors of Vernon and Florine Koehn and Judy. Mr. and Mrs. Benton Smith of Walker, Mo., were Sunday callers.
