Cathy Foote of Manhattan and Laura Nightengale of El Dorado were Wednesday guests of Marvin and Sherol Nightengale.

Ronnie and Patti Gaines went to Shiloh Manor in Canton, picked up her mother, Esther Highfill, and went to Galva to the home of Kenny and Roma Koehn to celebrate Roma's birthday.

Gary Belnap of Whitewater was a Sunday dinner guest of Lawrence and Lois Sayers.

The First Mennonite Senior Fellowship potluck supper was held Wednesday evening at the Burns Community Building. Enjoying the evening were Rev. Elmer and Tina Reimer, Esther Stucky, Dan and Alice Stucky, Dave and Esther Stucky, Ted and Lois Roth, Gene Obee, Phyllis Mitchell, Kathleen Brenzikofer, Mary Langenegger, and Joyce Kyle.

Bert Zogelman and Joyce Kyle were in Marion Thursday morning.

Minamae Bierman, Kathleen Brenzikofer, Gene Obee, and Joyce Kyle attended the "Build Your Own Hamburger" event Saturday evening at the Buffalo Gulch Ranch house in memory of Lou Anderson's birthday.

Zach Naylor, son of Todd and Heather Naylor, had an emergency appendectomy last week. He is doing well.

The Naylors had a puppy show up at their home recently. They say he is a beautiful dog. They also said Mrs. Rick Carlson stopped to tell them her dog is missing. Please don't pick up other people's dogs.

The Smith family, sisters and families of Mrs. Vernon Koehn, met Friday evening at the Burns Community Building to plan a family reunion for later in the year. Those attending were Vernon, Florine, and Judy Koehn, Marvin, Bertha and Loretta Koehn, Luana Isaac, Rose, Melissa, and Ryan, Renferd and Wanda Koehn, Lonnie, Dalen, and Carolee, Glen and Bonnie Enz and family, and Ron and Paula Toews and family of Hillsboro.
