Kathleen Brenzikofer, Evelyn Sidener, and Joyce Kyle attended the Senior Citizens of Marion County board meeting Friday at Florence.

Ronnie and Patti Gaines went to Canton Friday evening and picked up her mother, Esther Highfill at Shiloh Manor. They all went to Galva and had supper with Kenny and Roma Koehn.

Patti Gaines and her little sister, Taylor Ensinger, went to Wichita Saturday evening to a Shocker basketball game.

Dusty Gaines of Newton was a Sunday dinner guest of his parents, Ronnie and Patti.

Marvin and Sherol Nightengale went to Newton Friday evening to watch their grandson, Roger Nightengale, of El Dorado play basketball. They watched grandson, Casey, play ball Saturday afternoon in El Dorado.

Mary Archer of Cottonwood Falls, Lawrence and Lois Sayers, Sandy Sayers of El Dorado, and Bruce and Sheila Sayers, Megan, and Jessica went to the home of Bill and Sharon Taylor Sunday in Winfield. They joined other family members to celebrate the 87th birthday of Lois and Mary's aunt, Treva Skinner.

Mary Langenegger and Joyce Kyle joined Archie and Maryellen Stenzel of Marion Wednesday morning for breakfast at the Burns Café.

Several in the community attended the funeral for Fern Waggy Thursday at Zeiner Funeral Home in Florence. They also attended the visitation Wednesday evening.

Guests in the home of David and Shannon Smith and family were Shannon's parents, the Unruhs from Copeland.

We are happy to report that Kevin Jantz returned home after a week's stay in the hospital. Renferd and Wanda Koehn, Lonnie, Dalen, and Carolee were able to help the Jantzes by keeping the two little girls, Kaylee and Shauna, part of the time.
