Milton: Many are involved in holiday gatherings

Ronnie and Patti Gaines went to Canton where they picked up Esther Highfill and went to the home of Kenny and Roma Koehn Christmas Eve afternoon and evening. Joining them were Jeff and Jill Koehn, Megan, and Ashlie of Hutchinson, Shawn and Jean Koehn and Connor of Moscow, Dusty Gaines of Newton, and Ty and Kim Koehn of Madison.
Christmas Day Ronnie and Patti Gaines enjoyed their family, Dusty, Ty, and Kim. Sunday they went to the home of Maude Gaines and joined the rest of Maude's family for their Christmas dinner.
Shelby Plummer of Lawrence was a Christmas weekend guest of her parents. She came Friday evening and returned Monday. Christmas Day Al, Bonnie, and Shelby enjoyed the sons of Jeremy and Hayley Bidwell, Austin, Draven, and Aiden.
Marvin and Sherol Nightengale were Christmas dinner guests in the home of Brad and Diane Nightengale, Roger, Laura, and Casey in El Dorado. Other guests were Mitch and Cathy Foote of Manhattan and Charlie and Joyce DeForest.
Christmas Eve supper guests of Lawrence and Lois Sayers were Jim Padgett and Sara Sayers, Bruce and Sheila Sayers, Megan and Jessica, and Sandy Sayers. Sandy was an overnight and Christmas Day guest.
Mary Archer of Cottonwood Falls, Sandy Sayers of El Dorado, and Lois Sayers went shopping Monday in Newton.
Joyce Kyle accompanied Carol Callahan Friday evening to the home of Bert Zogelman in Florence for a Christmas celebration. Other guests were Jason, Brian and Samantha, Valen and Gabriel, Scott, Pat and Mary, and Sara and Krista.
Christmas dinner guests of Bob and Becky Kyle, Brody and Braxton were Glenn and Betty Kyle, Dan and Robin Kyle, Brian Partridge, Evelyn Beard, and Joyce Kyle.
Evelyn Beard was an overnight guest Christmas night. Joyce took her home to Wichita Sunday and they stopped to see Phyllis Nedeau. On the way home, Joyce called on Mary Langenegger and on Ike and Marie Clark.
Friday afternoon callers of Joyce Kyle were Bert and Scott Zogelman, Laura Langenegger, Sheila Sayers, Megan and Jessica, and Mack Clark and Bayleigh.
Renferd and Wanda Koehn, Lonnie, Dalen, and Carolee were Christmas Day dinner guests of Vernon, Florine, and Judy Koehn. Other guests were Luana Isaac and Rose Forgy and children, Ryan and Melissa.
Vernon Koehn held Sunday morning services at Moundridge Manor, joined by Arnold and Naomi Koehn.
Sunday evening guests for the Christmas gathering of Nathan and Ella Koehn were Renferd and Wanda Koehn and family, Kim and Roland Koehn and family, and Royce and Rachel Koehn and girls of James Port, Mo.
