Milton: Family attends state track meet to watch Laura Nightengale

Mitch and Cathy Foote and Kristen Wilds of Manhattan came Friday evening to the home of Marvin and Sherol Nightengale. They all went to Wichita Saturday to watch Laura Nightengale perform in the state track meet. She did very well.

Mike and Sylvia Sayers of Colorado Springs, Colo., visited Wednesday at the home of his parents, Lawrence and Lois Sayers. Sandy Sayers of El Dorado came Saturday to the Sayers' home.

Bruce Sayers, Megan and Jessica went to Holt Summit, Mo., Saturday to visit Don and Sarah Hunt and Taylor. They returned home Monday afternoon. In the evening they were supper guests of a friend, Gary Belknap at Whitewater.

Al and Bonnie Plummer left Friday to be with her mother Florence Lambert, at Norton and also her brother, Joe Lambert. They returned home Sunday. They report her mother is doing quite well.

Shelby Plummer of Lawrence came Monday to be with her parents, Al and Bonnie. She will be a guest until Thursday.

Lonnie and Dalen Koehn, Doug Koehn, and Christopher Koehn of Ohio left Saturday morning for Montrose, Colo., to attend the wedding Sunday of Travis Koehn and Erika Schmidt. They returned home Monday.

Sunday afternoon Renferd and Wanda Koehn and Carolee and Vernon and Judy Koehn attended the celebration of Jake and Ruby Koehn's 65th wedding anniversary at their home in Burns. Congratulations!

Weekend guests of Ronnie and Patti Gaines were Kenny and Roma Koehn of Galva, Shawn and Jean Koehn, Connor and Tanner of Sylvia, and Dustin Gaines of Wichita. The women attended a baby shower for Kim Gaines Saturday afternoon in Newton.

Rose Forgy hosted a commercial party Wednesday evening with Min Wei Stucky of Newton. Guests were Jan Schmidt, Justina and Sarah, Rebekah Koehn, Lena Koehn, Margy Jantz, Lavonne Koehn, Donna Koehn, Cynthia Koehn, Jennette Koehn, Martha Koehn, Shannon Smith, Judy Koehn, Norma Smith, Autumn Koeh, and Joyce Kyle.
