Milton: Dinner enjoyed at Gaines' home

Weekend guests of Ronnie and Patti Gaines were their children, Ty and Kim of Emporia and Dusty of Newton. The men went hunting and Patti and Kim went to Prairie Rose Saturday evening. All went to the home of Maude Gaines on Sunday for a family dinner. Others there were Jim and Sally Abel and Corey and William Gantz of Perry, Troy Abel of Silver Lake, Shelly and Ben Harper of Inman, Zack Harper of Lawrence, Herb and Melinda Gaines of Cassoday, Bo Gaines of Lindsborg, and Jean Gaines and Ray Paxton of Holton.
Marvin and Sherol Nightengale left on Thursday for the home of Jim and Linda Hess, Allie and Amelia in Kearney, Mo. They celebrated Amelia's fifth birthday. The Nightengales returned home on Sunday.
Lawrence and Lois Sayers attended a cousins reunion Sunday at the home of Bill and Sharon Taylor in Winfield. Sharon is Lois' cousin.
Shelby Plummer of El Dorado was a weekend guest of her parents, Al and Bonnie Plummer. They and grandsons Draven and Austin Bidwell of El Dorado attended the Cassoday church supper Saturday evening. The boys were overnight guests.
Renferd and Wanda Koehn, Lonnie, Dalen, and Carolee, Luana Isaac, and Kevin and Janarro Jantz, Kaylee and Shauna were Monday supper guests of Vernon and Florine Koehn and Judy.
Vernon and Florine Koehn went to the Alexanderfeld Church, Hillsboro, Sunday where Vernon was the visiting minister. They, Glenn and Bonnie Ensz and family and Ron and Paula Toews and family were dinner guests of Abe and Louise Ensz.
Joyce Kyle was a Tuesday overnight guest of Evelyn Beard in Wichita. They called on Phyllis Nedean on Wednesday.
Mary Langenegger and Joyce Kyle attended the ball game at Peabody Saturday afternoon. They lost, but have nothing to be ashamed of — they did great this year. In the evening, Mary, Joyce, and Minamae Bierman accompanied Kathleen Brenzikofer to the Cassoday church supper.
Sunday dinner guests of Mary Langenegger and Gary were Greg and Zeola Langenegger, their grandchildren Kristen and Matthew Newfield, and Justin Curiel of Newton, and Joyce Kyle. Trish Curiel came for her children in the afternoon.
