Marvin and Sherol Nightengale's family came Saturday afternoon to set up for their 50th wedding anniversary Sunday at Burns Community Building. What a nice party, we congratulate them. Attending from this community were Al Plummer, Ronnie and Patti Gaines, Renferd and Wanda Koehn, Vernon and Judy Koehn, Lawrence and Lois Sayers, and Joyce Kyle.
Bonnie Plummer went Thursday to Nixa, Mo., to baby-sit her granddaughters, Alyson and Abby Voelker until their parents, Martin and Kayme, return from Chicago. She returned home Monday.
Shelby Plummer came home from Dec. 8-10. Shelby and Al were supper guests Friday evening of Al's sister and husband, Ron and June Ford at Haysville. Shelby returned Monday to spend several days with her parents, Al and Bonnie. She will leave Saturday for Lake Perry.
Marvin and Sherol Nightengale went Friday evening to El Dorado to watch Roger and Laura Nightengale play ball.
Evelyn Sidener, Kathleen Brenzikofer, and Joyce Kyle attended the Marion County Senior Citizens board meeting Friday at Hillsboro. They called on Minamae Bierman and Roseva McLinden at Marion Assisted Living later in the afternoon.
Rose Forgy, Russell and Martha Koehn, Brad and Merriam Jantz, Keith and Julie Koehn, and Ted and Autumn Koehn went Thursday evening to Moundridge and sang for residents of Moundridge Manor and Mercy Hospital.
Greg and Zeola Langenegger picked up Joyce Kyle Sunday evening and they attended First Mennonite Church Christmas program. Such nice programs this year.
I want to wish all of you a blessed New Year.
