Renferd and Wanda Koehn, Lonnie, Dalen, and Carolee left Friday for Pennsylvania. They arrived Saturday at the home of Renferd's sister and family, Noah and Vernella Peachy, Laura, Catherine, Marissa, and Samantha at Belleville. They all attended church Sunday. They did some shopping Monday and Tuesday. On Wednesday, they went to the home of Wanda's sister and family, Willie and Cathy Bender, Daryl, Timothy, and Weldon at Mifflinberg, Pa. They were joined by Mike and Annette Bender, Shayla and Katrina and Mark and Caroline Bender, Makayla and Rachelle for supper. They went to Johnstown Thursday and toured the town that had been destroyed by a flood in the 1800s. Carolee and Annette went shopping Friday. They started home Saturday, arriving Sunday afternoon. A great time was reported.
Joe and Dean Fraley of Fayetteville, Ark., arrived Friday at the home of Lawrence and Lois Sayers and were guests until Sunday morning. Joining them for Saturday supper were Sandy Sayers of El Dorado and Bruce Sayers, Megan and Jessica of Cassoday. The Fraleys and Sayers have been friends for a long time.
Marvin and Sherol Nightengale's Friday visitors were Wayne and Gloria Handle of Baxter Springs. The Nightengales went to Wamego Saturday to watch Laura Nightengale run in the cross country meet. They were Saturday overnight guests of Mitch and Cathy Foote at Manhattan.
Ronnie and Patti Gaines were Friday, Saturday, and Sunday guests of Ty and Kim Gaines and Brooke at Madison. They enjoyed their granddaughter.
Kathleen Brenzikofer and Joyce Kyle attended the Wonsevu ladies dinner party Saturday at Town & Country Cafe. In the evening they attended the Burns Methodist church supper and bazaar.
