Marvin and Sherol Nightengale went to Topeka Thursday and met their daughter, Linda Hess, and brought their granddaughter, Amelia, home with them. They stopped in Emporia on their way home and watched their grandson, Roger Nightengale, play ball. Monday they took Amelia back home to Topeka.

Leroy and Norma Riggs of Marion vistied Marvin and Sherol Nightengale Friday.

Joyce Kyle went to Wichita Thursday to visit with her sisters-in-law, Evelyn Beard and Phyllis Nedeau.

Glenn and Daytha Langenegger, Amber, and Laura, Greg Langenegger, and Joyce Kyle were Sunday dinner guests of Mary Langenegger. They celebrated Amber's birthday.

Paul and Frances Smith of Dumas, Ark., brother of Florine Koehn, were Saturday night and Sunday night guests of Vernon, Florine, and Judy. Jim and Hazel Smith of Rich Hill, Mo., also a brother of Florine, were Saturday overnight guests of Rose Isaac and children. They all came to attend the Saturday evening Smith family reunion at Burns Community Building. Sixty-six people were present for the Saturday evening supper and 72 for Sunday church service, dinner, and supper.

Ric and Sandra Decker of DeRidder, La., also came for the Smith reunion and were Saturday overnight guests of Renferd and Wanda Koehn, Lonnie, Dale, and Carolee.
