Ronnie and Patti Gaines went to Canton Friday evening, visited Esther Highfill, and watched fireworks sponsored by Shiloh Manor. They went to Madison Saturday to the home of Ty and Kim Gaines, joining relatives and friends celebrating the Fourth of July a few hours early.

Weekend guests of Marvin and Sherol Nightengale were Brandon and Kristen Wild and Mitch and Cathy Foote of Manhattan. Roger and Casey Nightengale were Sunday morning guests. All went to the home of Brad and Diane Nightengale in El Dorado for an Independence Day dinner.

Bonnie Plummer went to Topeka last week Sunday to see her sister, Kay Lambert, and went with Shelby Plummer for orientation at the University of Kansas. She returned home Tuesday.

Florence Lambert of Norton and Kay Lambert of Topeka were Sunday dinner guests of Al and Bonnie Plummer. Later in the afternoon, Jeremy and Hayley Bidwell, Austin, Draven, and Aiden of El Dorado came and were supper guests and shot fireworks.

Sandy Sayers of El Dorado brought supper to the home of her parents, Lawrence and Lois, the evening of the Fourth of July.

Kathleen Brenzikofer and Joyce Kyle went to Newton Saturday afternoon and called on Kenneth Weber at Newton Medical Center. Later, they went to the home of Greg and Judy Brenzikofer and joined friends for a cookout and fireworks.
