Last week's news:
Renferd and Wanda Koehn, Lonnie and Carolee left Thursday for Port Arthur, Texas, where Dalen has been working. They visited Galveston and Houston and brought Dalen home with them. They had an interesting trip, returning home Sunday.
Bruce Sayers, Megan and Jessica were Sunday dinner guests of Lawrence and Lois Sayers. Their Monday evening visitors were Ashley Wiebe and Seth.
The Burns UMW — Laverna Parrish, Esta Hall, Evelyn Sidener, Beverly Morgan, and Joyce Kyle — had a "day out" Thursday. They picked up Kathleen Breznikofer and went to Water's Edge at Hesston for lunch, then on to Moundridge to visit Reva Goodwin. Everyone enjoyed the day.
Joyce Kyle accompanied Carol Callahan to Wichita Friday evening to attend the wedding of Sara Zogelman and Zaid Libidi. A lovely wedding. Joyce returned home with Bert and Scott Zogelman.
Burns senior citizens went to Hutchinson Tuesday and toured the Underground Salt Musuem, ate lunch, and visited the zoo. Most of us rode in the Marion County Dept. for Elderly van, driven by Reign Anduss. Enjoying the day were Reign's wife, Marlene, Barbara Kroupa, Dale and Tootsie Snelling and grandson, Doni Rogers, Don and Laverna Parrish, Beverly Morgan, Marie Clark, James Olberding, Lowell Larsen, and Joyce Kyle.
