Weekend guests of Marvin and Sherol Nightengale were Mitch and Cathy Foote of Manhattan and Jim and Linda Hess, Allie and Amelia of Kearney, Mo. They all attended Laura Nightengale's commencement Sunday afternoon at El Dorado. Later they joined others at the home of Brad and Diana Nightengale for a party.
Al, Bonnie, and Shelby Plummer and Jeremy and Hayley Bidwell, Astin, Draven, Aiden, and Raven attended the graduation Sunday afternoon for Morgan Plummer at Rose Hill. They attended a party at the Todd Plummer home later.
Ronnie and Patti Gaines went to Hutchinson Saturday to help Ashley and Megan Koehn celebrate their fifth birthdays at the home of their parents, Jeff and Jill Koehn. Dusty Gaines also was there, among others.
Sandy Sayers visited her parents, Lawrence and Lois Sayers and brother, Bruce, Saturday. Bruce is doing much better and moved home Tuesday.
Carolee Koehn, Marie Clark, and Joyce Kyle accompanied Judy Koehn to Josie Green's nurses' pinning ceremony Thursday evening at Butler Community College.
Evelyn Sidener and Joyce Kyle attended the Senior Citizens of Marion County board meeting Friday at Durham.
Mary Langenegger, Fern Goodwin, and Joyce Kyle attended a baby shower for their great-niece, Kalisha Jantz, Saturday at the home of Dawna Schmidt at Moundridge.
Jim Gehring of Moundridge and Bob Kyle, Braxton and Brody of Peabody called on Joyce Saturday afternoon.
Joyce attended the graduation party Sunday evening for Hannah Jackson at the Burns Community Center.
Lawrence and Lois Sayers, Bruce Sayers, Megan and Jessica went to Peabody Monday evening for the eighth grade promotion. Megan was an eighth grader. Joyce Kyle accompanied them and got to see Brody Kyle promoted and several others from Burns.
We wish all the graduates — college, high school, eighth grade, and nurses — a great future in whatever they do.
Sympathy is expressed to the family of Tobe Koehn who died Saturday.
