Marvin and Sherol Nightengale attended the wedding of their great-nephew, Adam Turner, to Danielle Jones, Saturday at the First Congregational Church in Emporia.
Al, Bonnie, and Shelby Plummer went to Nixa, Mo., Tuesday to visit Martin and Kayme, Alyson and Abbie Voelker. They attended Abbie's dance recital and returned home Thursday.
Shelby Plummer did some babysitting Friday for nephews and brought Austin Bidwell home with her. He enjoyed playing ball and fishing. They took him home Sunday afternoon.
Patti Gaines went to Canton Friday evening, picked up her mother, Esther Highfill, and traveled on to Galva. There, they had supper with Roma and Kenny Koehn. Dusty Gaines was a Sunday dinner guest of his parents, Ronnie and Patti.
Lawrence and Bernice Harms of Rio Hondo, Texas, were Thursday guests of Joyce Kyle.
Kathleen Brenzikofer, Evelyn Sidener, and Joyce Kyle attended the Marion County Senior Citizens board meeting Friday at Ramona. That evening, Joyce attended Tobey Green's graduation in Newton.
Paul and Frances Smith of Dumas, Ark., brother of Florine Koehn, arrived Tuesday at the Koehn home for a few days' visit. That evening they were joined by Marvin and Bertha Koehn and Loretta, Vernon, Florine, and Judy Koehn, Luana Isaac, Glenn and Bonnie Enz and family, and Ron and Paula Toews and family of Hillsboro for supper at the home of Renferd and Wanda Koehn. The Smiths returned home Thursday.
Eden Christian School held its last day of school Saturday. They had an exciting afternoon when the "Life Watch" team flew in for all to observe. They were explaining everything when they had to leave for an emergency call. This was a long-to-be-remembered event.
