Bruce Sayers, Megan and Jessica have moved to their new home near Cassoday. We wish them well.
Anita Witt of Saner, Texas, a friend of Lawrence and Lois Sayers, arrived Friday at the Sayers home and was an overnight guest. Friday supper guests were Bruce, Megan, and Jessica Sayers, Sandy Sayers, and Jim Padgett, Sara and Autumn. They all enjoyed visiting. They went to Wichita Saturday to attend the 94th birthday party for Cecil McCune, Anita's father.
Wednesday overnight guests of Josh and Ashley Wiebe were Briana, Katie, Rachele, and Jesse Wiebe. They were enjoying spring break. Shandra and Jeremy Wiebe called on Josh and Ashley this past week. Sunday visitors were Dwayne and Muriel Wiebe.
Rose Forgy and Melissa attended a bridal shower Monday evening for Sarah Schmidt at the Eden Christian School.
Willie and Kathy Bender left Wednesday evening for their home after spending several days with Vernon, Florine, and Judy Koehn. Evening callers to see them off were Renferd and Wanda Koehn, Lonnie, Dalen, and Carolee, Luana Isaac, and Rose Forgy, Melissa and Ryan.
First Mennonite senior fellowship was held Wednesday evening at the home of Mary Langenegger. Those attending were Pastor Arlen Busenitz, Howard and Darline Goering, David and Welma Thiessen, Mike and Larry Spachek, Ruth Schmidt, Esther Stucky, Phyllis Mitchell, Kathleen Brenzikofer, Doni Rogers, Marjorie Zuercher, and Joyce Kyle.
Kathleen Brenzikofer, Evelyn Sidener, and Joyce Kyle attended the hospice-sponsored teleconference, "Living with Grief, Before and After Death," Thursday afternoon at Bethel College in Newton.
