Marvin Nightengale went to Wichita Saturday to watch granddaughter, Allie Hess of Kearney, Mo., play soccer in a tournament. Marvin and Sherry went back Sunday. The team did quite well.
Leroy and Norma Riggs of Marion visited Marvin and Sherol Tuesday afternoon.
Ty and Brooke Gaines of Madison were guests Friday evening at the Ronnie Gaines home.
Ronnie and Patti Gaines met Dusty Gaines in Wichita Sunday to see the Titanic exhibit at Exploration Place.
Al and Bonnie Plummer met Hayley Bidwell, Austin, Draven, and Aiden of El Dorado in Burns for supper Friday evening. The boys went home with their grandparents to spend the night. Bonnie took them home Saturday afternoon.
Rose Forgy, Melissa and Ryan visited Luana Isaac Sunday afternoon. Later they all called on Danny and June Huls and Jenny.
Rose attended a sewing meeting Tuesday at Eden Mennonite Church.
Laverna Parrish, Esta Hall, Evelyn Sidener, and Joyce Kyle attended a special UMW meeting Thursday morning at the First United Methodist Church in El Dorado.
Sunday dinner guests of Mary Langenegger and Gary were Pastor Arlen Busenitz, Greg Langenegger, Kathleen Brenzikofer, and Joyce Kyle. In the afternoon, Mary, Kathleen, Joyce, and Phyllis Mitchell attended the ordination service for Pastor Arlen at Grace Baptist Church near Whitewater.
We send sympathy to the family of Bernice Marcott in California. She recently died. Get well wishes to Pastor Jim Bush and Glen Strotkamp.
