Methvin medals at Herington
Seth Methvin earned a second place medal in informative speaking March 8 at the Herington Invitational forensics meet. The medal qualifies him for state competition.
He also has qualified for state competition with Alex Holm-McDowell in improvised duet acting. The state competition is May 3.
Other placings at Herington were Methvin/Holm-McDowell, seventh in improvised duet acting; Holm-McDowell, eighth, dramatic solo acting; Grant Buller, ninth, dramatic solo acting; and Jason Wingert/Buller, 11th, improvised duet acting.
Other teams competing were from Marion, Centre, Hillsboro, SE Saline, Chapman, West Franklin, and Council Grove.
