Methodist church to hold supper and auction
Burns United Methodist Church will host its annual supper and auction bazaar Oct. 22 at Burns.
The supper will be served from 5 to 7 p.m. in the church fellowship hall. A free-will donation will be accepted for the beef brisket supper.
A country store will offer baked goods and craft items for sale during the meal.
A quilt will be on display at the church. Tickets may be purchased for the drawing for the quilt or 20 gallons of gasoline.
The auction will be held at 7:30 p.m. at Burns Community Building. Several handmade items, foods, and crafts will be available. The building will open at 4 p.m. to receive items to be auctioned. Drawing for the quilt will be at the conclusion of the auction.
Proceeds from the supper and auction go to support programs in the local church and community.
