Mercedes Zavala
Mercedes "Mark" Zavala, 86, died June 21, 2004.
Born Sept. 24, 1917, at Roswell, N.M., he was the son of Jose and Gregoria (Almanza) Zavada.
He was a machinist at Beech, Wichita.
Survivors include two sons, David Zavala of Haysville and Daniel Zavala of Wichita; a daughter, Cindy Meservy of Conway Springs; a sister, Virginia Aguilera of Fresno, Calif.; eight grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Funeral services were held Friday afternoon at Fairview Christian Church, Wichita.
