Memorial service to remember Scott Kerchner
A memorial service for George Scott Kerchner, Sr. will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Peabody American Legion Hall downtown.
Hospice minister Roger Megli will officiate.
Kerchner died Aug. 20, 2007, at his home in Peabody.
Local survivors include John and Anne Kerchner, John and Nelda Phillips, Sarah Moreno, Tom and Sharon Kerchner, Chad Carr and Camden and Callen, all of Peabody; Tom and Vannessa Grossnickle and Riely of Augusta, Phil and Sarahanne Unruh of Marion; Chris and Alaycea Carr and Callie Smith, Newton; and best friends Gene and Deb Waner, also of Marion.
A memorial has been established for an educational fund for his children, Dustin and Diamon. Contributions may be left with family at the service.
